For nearly a century, Nationwide has been offering reliable insurance to its policyholders. It started with auto insurance, and has since expanded into life insurance, pet insurance, self-funded pension plans, and more.

Available self-funded pension plans

Nationwide has four self-funded pension plans for customers to choose from:

  • Variable
    • Get paid based on how your investments perform
    • A choice of getting paid right away (variable immediate) or allowing it to grow tax-deferred (tax-deferred growth)
  • Immediate
    • After paying a single lump sum, start getting a monthly income
    • With the investments you make, they be immediate or variable
  • Fixed
    • Your principal investments and interest rate are fixed
    • Your earnings are tax-deferred
    • Considered a low-risk plan
  • Market value adjusted
    • A mix of guarantee terms and high-interest rate
    • Best for saving for retirement, not as a plan for during retirement

Additional benefits

As a customer of Nationwide, you unlock all kinds of resources like retirement advice, mutual funds, and more. Nationwide wants you to consider every aspect of your retirement, and is there to help.
